Kings Langley Musical Theatre Company
Our next production is Calamity Jane from the 25th to 28th April 2018. Look out for audition rehearsal dates.
The NODA review for 9 to 5 The Musical is here at last.
After a very warm welcome, I walked into the theatre to be greeted with a beautifully presented open set, (No credit in the programme for set design) depicting Consolidated Industries with the two side scenes either side of the Orchestra Pit enabling the scene changes during the show to move by very swiftly. Considering the restrictions back stage it was a job very well done.
Director & Choreographer GILLI MORRIS-MONK is to be congratulated on a very slick and well rehearsed production. Choreography was simplistic but very effective with all the ensemble well drilled throughout. I particularly liked ‘Heart to Hart’ and the fantasy sequence numbers.
The Kings Langley Community Centre is a great venue for shows and has a bar, tiered seating, an orchestra pit and a fully working stage with great light and sound capabilities.
KINGS LANGLEY COMMUNITY CENTRE
As usual Denise and Martin Wolmark delivered a very entertaining quiz and we had a good turnout 80+ trying to win.
